Now sitting near the shore of the St. John River, is the third and final test tank for the Space Shuttle Program. It was used for structures/stress testing at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama between 1977 and 1980. After being displayed at the Kennedy Space Center, the Wings of Dreams museum acquired it and relocated to its current location. However, they were not able to secure further funding and this tank sits abandoned.
