Guidance and Navigation Simulator
The Guidance and Navigation Simulator (GNS) was initially located at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. When the Shuttle program ended in 2011, NASA awarded the GNS to Wings of Dream museum in Florida. Unfortunately, that museum closed in 2018, leaving the fate of this artifact in limbo. Movie director Roland Emmerich learned of the GNS and acquired it for use in his film 'Moonfall'. Upon completion of the film, it was transfer to Pima Air and Space Museum.
